The Museum is now closed and will re open on Easter Saturday 2026

Unfortunate news and information

It is with great disappointment that we are unable to hold our very popular “Santa Night” in the museum this year. This is due to some restoration work been carried out, and unfortunately the work will not be completed.

Winkie’s Castle have gained a silver award in the 2018 Northumbria in Bloom. Many thanks go to Larry and Carol Bruce who have cared for the gardens at the Museum.
